After knowing so many principles utilized in selling tactics, you may wonder if there is any method or solution that can help you get rid of selling tactics and buying things you don't need.
Here it is!
We can Plan. We can Place. We can Put Them Together.
PLAN
Don't get rushed when you hear there's a shop on sale!
Just take some time, sitting down and thinking about what you've already owned, what you really need, and the frequency you will use if you buy a product. That is to say, if there's an alternative at home, don't buy a new one. If the product is just for fulfilling your curiosity, and you will only use it once or twice, don't buy it.
Then you can make a shopping list, which only includes necessary things.
PLACE
Now you've made your plan and go to the shop.
But when you see various commodities and attractive discounts, you cannot guarantee that you will stick to the plan. It is still possible that you will forget about your plan, buying many unnecessary things.
So, here comes the second method.
We can place credit cards at home and just bring cash that can merely buy the thing we plan. No matter how powerful the tactics are, they will not work for a customer without enough money.
PUT THEM TOGETHER
Finally, I put the two above methods together and made a template.
As you can see, the heading has a pair of eyes supervising you to bring less money.
You can list items you need to buy on the left part of the template and then estimate the cost of each item in the right parenthesis to calculate how much money you need to bring
